Responsibilities:
1. Orders, cooks, and/or ensures that meals are provided for all residents.
2. Works with dietician to prepare healthy meals.
3. Supervises clients assigned to work in the kitchen.
4. Keeps kitchen in compliance with all city, county, and state regulations.
5. Maintains a healthy cooking environment.
6. Ensures all fire and safety precautions are met.
7. Ensures lunches are prepared for clients leaving for work.
Education and Training:
Current CPR certification
Skills and Abilities:
Organization/attention to detail, independence, ability to plan and organize, interdepartmental cooperation/teamwork, dependability, excellent judgment, leadership, efficient resolution of conflicts.
