Job Posting for Rehabilitation Technician Supervisor
Anyone interested should submit a completed Application for Employment to the mailbox of Melvin Norman, Senior Counselor Phase I.
Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and coordinate the rehabilitation technician staff to ensure that business operations flow smoothly and in accordance with Synergy's philosophy, policies, and mission.

2. Maintain the work schedule of the rehabilitation technicians in order to ensure adequate staff coverage.  This will include creating, posting, and maintaining the weekly schedule as well as accepting phone calls and updating changes to the schedule as they occur.

3. Be on-call for phone calls as they relate to the tech schedule.  Must be available to fill tech shifts in emergencies.

4. Document and report all changes on the daily crew list and driving schedule to the Assistant Business Coordinator.

5. Ensure all residents are dropped off and picked up on time from work sites, medical appointments, etc.

6. Attend the Synergy business meeting every Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 pm.

7. Document and report staffing problems, building and vehicle maintenance problems to appropriate staff.

8. Perform other projects and duties as assigned, including, but not limited to: transporting residents, distributing supplies, enforcing resident rules, sorting and/or storing residents' personal items, conducting building safety and security checks, monitoring the daily schedule, supervising residents, and driving Synergy vehicles to be filled with gas, etc.

9. Meet and communicate with other rehabilitation technician supervisors between shifts daily.

10. Participate in the orientation process for newly-hired rehabilitation technicians.

11. Monitor residents for behavioral patterns and report observations to appropriate staff.

12. Ensure all rehabilitation technicians perform scheduled rounds and duties on the shift checklist, follow their job description, and make appropriate entries in the daily log book.

13. Keep the front counter and business office clean and free of clutter.  Maintain files at the front counter in a clear and consistent manner.

14. Participate in collaborative team efforts with other Synergy staff and outside community groups as needed.

15. Supervise random drug screens as directed by supervisor and/or counselor.

16. Complete admission and discharge duties and paperwork as assigned.

17. Performs all tasks on the Job Duties Checklist.


Education and Training:
High school diploma/GED, or equivalent skills required (Bachelor's degree preferred)
Current CPR certification
Valid Tennessee driver's license, Class D with F endorsement
